As a member of the Market Risk VaR & Capital Coverage Team in Market Risk Management, you oversee market risk regulatory capital for the Global Commodities business, working closely with teams across the CIB. You help us understand and manage risk, drive strategic initiatives, and support the implementation of future regulatory frameworks. Together, we create a robust and forward-looking risk management environment.,

• Oversee the Firm's Market Risk Regulatory Capital framework for Global Commodities
• Utilize trading analysis tools to monitor risk exposures and profit and loss drivers across commodities portfolios
• Follow global commodities markets and analyze price movements impacting trading portfolios (e.g., spot/forward curves, basis, spreads, volatility)
• Develop expertise in a wide range of commodities products (derivatives and, where applicable, physical-linked risk) and associated market risk factors
• Govern risk management metrics and regulatory capital measures, including VaR and Stressed VaR
• Provide regulatory capital expertise to Risk, Finance, and Front Office teams
• Collaborate with Market Risk Coverage and Trading Desks to assess capital impacts of new products and risk-taking activities
• Support implementation of future regulatory frameworks, such as FRTB
• Lead data science and infrastructure initiatives to modernize VaR and capital oversight (e.g., automation, data quality, controls, explainability)
• Partner across Market Risk Management, Quantitative Research, Product Control, Technology, and Data Science teams
  
  Market risk experience in the Commodities asset class, or similar (e.g., rates/FX/credit with strong transferable risk framework experience)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, responding to market events and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills with ability to drive initiatives to completion
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong process and control mindset
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Experience with coding and data science (e.g., Python, SQL, data visualization)
