Full Job Description

  • Responsible for verifying customs documents, to ensure compliance with UK import tax regulations.
  • Support/guide internal and external stakeholders with UK Import regulated shipments, ensuring an efficient journey.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate any discrepancies with customs documents, in line with both UK tax regulations and business needs.
  • Proactively monitor and manage future, pending and retrospective submissions via our inbox and Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
  • Maintain good tracking of all submissions in our Import Shared Drive.
  • Perform month-end reconciliation of import documentation and submissions, generating Post-Clearance Amendments (PCAs) if necessary.
  • Verify courier invoicing originating from imports into the UK via our invoicing (FSA) system.
  • Being fully conversant with procedures, POs, GLP, GMP and Company EH&S regulations pertaining to the department and the job role.
  • Develop/Maintain SOP's or guides as needed to ensure efficient processes are in place.
  • Performing such other duties that are required from time to time. These will include other Logistics tasks and routine FSA tasks.

    Do you have excellent communication skills paired with great attention to detail?, Relevant national level of education in comparison to High School Diploma or equivalent, GCSE A-level or equivalent, Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with ability to network.
  • High level of attention to detail working to high quality standards.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with the ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively.
  • Naturally curious and interested in learning new things along with the ability to demonstrate critical thinking.
  • Previous experience in industry either in an operational or support role advantageous.
