Lecturer T Level Engineering

City College Norwich is looking to recruit a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Engineering (Mechatronics) to join our dynamic Engineering team.

This role requires strong expertise in mechatronics, electronics, and associated engineering principles, with the ability to deliver the Occupational Specialism and support applied learning within the curriculum. You will play a key role in equipping students with the technical skills and knowledge required to succeed in the engineering sector.

You will also contribute to ensuring students are effectively prepared for all assessment components, including the Employer Set Project (ESP).

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in mechatronics and engineering subjects

Lead the delivery of the Occupational Specialism within the engineering curriculum

Support applied, hands-on learning aligned with industry practice

Prepare learners for assessments, including the ESP

Track and support student progress to maximise achievement

Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives

We are seeking a committed individual who:

Has strong knowledge of mechatronics, electronics, or a related engineering discipline

Holds industry experience or teaching/training experience in engineering

Demonstrates the ability to inspire and engage learners

Is committed to student success and high-quality education delivery

Holds a recognised teaching qualification or is willing to work towards one
