Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer in Construction to join our Construction team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching to young people and adult learners across the region, supporting them to achieve their goals in the field of construction. You'll play an active role within our adult learning delivery team, promoting excellence in education and maintaining accurate records of student progress using college systems.

The successful candidate will hold relevant professional qualifications in construction and demonstratable practical experience in multi-trades including, brickwork, carpentry, plumbing, plastering and finishing trades. A teaching qualification at Level 5 or above is desirable, though not essential, and you must have a strong commitment to supporting and motivating learners. Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills are essential, alongside a flexible, team-oriented approach.

  • 1 FTE - 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent
  • Salary: £29,583 - £41,964 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience), As part of the Eastern Education Group, you may be required to support learning across our wider network of colleges.
