Full Job Description

Stock control, reagent preparation and ordering of consumables, labelling of pots and slides
Preparation/ archiving of a range of animal samples in accordance with study paperwork and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
General housekeeping and cleaning procedures to ensure the continued daily operation of the laboratory
May assist in routine laboratory procedures, including animal postmortems and foetal sectioning
Working within the confines of a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) environment, All tasks will be performed with minimal supervision on satisfactory completion of training
All training will be provided, and this is a great first step for anyone looking to get into the industry. You will be joining a team who are supportive, collaborative and really work together to ensure the companies goals are met
Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately read, record, and communicate information
Some manual lifting is required
Some weekend work may be required
Competent with Excel and Word applications

GCSEs of grades C/4 or above in Maths, English and Science
