Junior Cardiac Physiologist

As a Junior Cardiac Physiologist you will be required to work as a competent practitioner within the Evelina London Children's Hospital. Duties will include both invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations, providing adequate technical cover during the department's normal working hours. Cardiac Physiologists with a background in adult cardiology will be supported to undergo paediatric cardiology training., To provide support to the cardiac OPD (paediatrics) by performing cardiological testing: ECG, Holter monitor analysis, to assist with the ETT and CPET service on inpatients and outpatients

- To work with the bookings team to ensure appointments are booked appropriately

- House-keeping tasks - such as stock taking.

The Department of Congenital Heart Disease, sits within the Surgery, PICU and Theatres directorate and our cardiac program manages the full spectrum of congenital heart problems on one site, providing continuous care from the fetus (Fetal Cardiology Unit, Evelina), through childhood (Paediatric Cardiology, Evelina) into adult life (Adult Congenital Heart Disease - ACHD at St. Thomas' Hospital).

Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals joined Guy's and St Thomas' in February 2021 and is now the largest specialist heart and lung centre in the UK and among the largest in Europe. Weprovide treatment for people with heart and lung disease, including rare and complex conditions, offering some of the most sophisticated treatment that is available anywhere in the world.
