HR Culture Assistant

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Plymouth to assist with the appointment of a HR Culture Assistant, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in HR, offering hands-on experience while supporting key HR processes and contributing to a high-quality consultancy service., Act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries from employees and managers
Triage and support HR queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses
Coordinate job evaluation and grading requests, maintaining accurate records
Support and promote employee financial wellbeing schemes (e.g. salary sacrifice)
Assist in the delivery of HR services in line with policies and best practice

Strong interest in developing a career in HR
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
Customer-focused approach with attention to detail
