Housing Options Officer

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Housing Options Officer to join Coventry City Council's Housing & Homelessness Service.In this role, you will support residents experiencing housing difficulties by providing expert advice, assessing housing needs, and working proactively to prevent and relieve homelessness. You will manage a varied caseload, conduct detailed housing assessments, develop Personalised Housing Plans, and work collaboratively with partners to secure positive housing outcomes.This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills are essential. There are two roles being advertised, both full-time positions one of which is permanent and the other is
fixed-term maternity cover.
