Histopathology Quality Admin Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, well organised individual to join our highly skilled Histopathology team. The post will be based in the Histopathology Department. The Pathology team at Harrogate is highly regarded having an excellent reputation with service users. The focus of the department is on delivery of a high quality service with patients at the centre of everything we do. Our vision is to achieve excellence every time. The team at Harrogate is small and friendly requiring a high degree of team work and co-operation from its members so candidates should be prepared to be part of the close knit environment fostered in the department., f The main duties include: To perform departmental audits and raise any non-conformances via the QMS To assist in the preparation of the quality report for the Quality and Governance meeting. To generate outstanding work lists and manage samples referred to external laboratories. Follow departmental policies to ensure maintenance of quality standards. Monitor the audit schedule and work with the Section Manager and Quality Lead to plan the audit schedule Data entry for trend analysis, assist the Section Lead to identify trends

The role would suit individuals with a high degree of time management, good IT skills, an awareness of quality management systems and experience of audit training would be beneficial.
