Full Job Description
We're looking for a Global Credit & Compliance Manager to join the INEOS Acetyls team in London or Hull . We need highly motivated individuals who want to be part of our growing business., The Global Credit & Compliance Manager supports the business in optimising performance by identifying and providing credit information to effectively manage customer risk, improving accounts receivable levels, providing input when required to accurately forecast business cash, whilst adhering to the DoA. The role also leads and coordinates the INEOS Acetyls compliance agenda ensuring the business is compliant with key obligations, adhering to local laws, INEOS Group and INEOS Acetyls guidelines.,
- Champions the INEOS 20 Safety Principles.
- Leads the continued review, development and implementation of the global credit and compliance processes, policies, procedures and reporting, ensuring they are fit for purpose and aligned with the goals of the business whilst complying with legislation, business delegations and the credit and compliance polices.
- Responsible for the setting and management the global customer risk management through review of financial results, analysis, recommendation and monitor of credit lines to migrate risk using internal and external resources and provide guidance when necessary to Commercial on credit options.
- Present to Board members the quarterly Credit performance and an update of any other business.
- Oversee Credit Control to ensure prompt collection of receivables, liaise with Account Managers to address concerns to find solutions for business continuity limiting risk.
- Attend customer visits with Commercial to build customer relationships.
- Lead the preparation of the monthly performance reports to the Board.
- Responsibility for ensuring Letters of Credit are performed in accordance with the latest UCP regulations and INEOS Acetyls guidelines.
- Oversee the securitisation reporting to Group, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Participate in resolving historical debt, negotiate payment plans with customers and lead debt recovery conversations with administrators, lawyers and other external and internal stakeholders.
- Be vigilant with the changing regulatory requirements impacting the business to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, advising the Board when necessary.
- Drive and embed a culture of compliance across INEOS Acetyls including but not limited to Dawn Raids, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Competition Law, Anti-Slavery, Sanctions and Code of Conduct for policies, procedures and training requirements, providing support and advice were necessary.
- Conduct deep dive assessments to verify the integrity of 3rd parties through liaising with lawyers and other external parties to provide constructive recommendations, findings and observations where required.
- Manage the Acetyls Gifts and Entertainment Register, Group Sanctions reporting and respond to KYC requests from banks whilst working with Group Compliance to meet all information requests timely and accurately.
- Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports to ensure capabilities are maintained, process improvements are continually achieved, and individual skills are developed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure high professional standards.
- Represent the businesses on select Credit and Compliance function initiatives.
- Work with other functions to provide information, share knowledge and understanding of data as and when required.
- Network within the INEOS credit and compliance communities to manage customers / suppliers to multiple businesses.
- Periodically perform other financial duties, projects and activities as required by the CFO and Global Financial Controller.
You will be a Qualified / Part Qualified (CICM/CIMA) and/or have 10+ years of progressive experience in global credit risk and regulatory compliance management - Deep understanding of fundamental credit drivers and credit exposure.
- Strong financial, analytical and business acumen that translates to thinking commercially in support of continuous business process improvement.
- You will also be required to have well developed PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) and knowledge of SAP.
- Strong administrative skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- Understanding of security Instruments
- You will be required to be highly independent and results-orientated in order to encourage a culture of high data quality through accuracy, attention to detail, consistency and understanding.
