Full Job Description

Our Private Client US/UK team help our clients navigate the frequently changing and complex landscape of having exposure to both US and UK taxation, and manage the international tax environment related to stringent reporting requirements. A career in our team will provide you with the opportunity to advise clients on their US and UK tax affairs, while acting as a trusted advisor feeding in on any tax considerations to be had when making financial decisions or acquiring assets. We are seeking a Private Client UK/US Senior Manager for our team to help individuals understand where the primary right to tax lies in different scenarios, as well as providing advice on tax implications of movement of funds. What your days will look like:

  • Managing a diverse and broad portfolio of client engagements, while delegating responsibility to junior staff and consulting Directors & Partners where applicable.
  • Working closely with experienced Private Client Partners and Directors and having the responsibility of helping develop new client relationships, deliver complex projects, identifying and pursuing new opportunities from within our market.
  • Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with the needs of clients and the firm.
  • Maintaining an expert level of relevant US & UK tax knowledge, staying current with technical developments including changes in tax law and legislation.

You have relevant, detailed and up-to-date US and UK tax knowledge in the personal tax industry and experience of dealing with complex tax issues facing owners, founders and executives, as well as privately or family owned businesses.
  • You have excellent project management skills - being able to manage several demanding client projects while remaining resilient and planning workload for themselves and others.
  • You have experience in advising on international aspects such as residence, domicile and arriving/leaving the US and the UK as many of our clients have a global footprint and are internationally mobile.
  • You can demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines throughout the year and deliver high-quality work.
  • You must be an Enrolled Agent and possess one of the following qualifications; ACA,CTA or ATT (or international equivalent)

In order to be the leading professional services firm it's important we have the right values, culture and behaviours embedded throughout our organisation, so our work reflects our purpose and we can successfully deliver our strategy.
  • Our values set the expectations for the way we interact with each other, our clients, and in the communities in which we operate. These values, and the behaviours that they require from us, are relevant to all our people regardless of grade. They support a culture that empowers our people to be the best they can be, through challenging experiences and encouraging our people to speak up to make the firm a better place. We want all our people to understand and embrace the culture and personally feel part of the legacy this will create for our future employees. We're a hugely diverse business, bound together by our purpose - to build trust in society and solve important problems for our clients and the communities in which we operate. We believe we can make the biggest impact when our purpose is embedded within everything we do.
