Financial Reporting Manager

Join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and regulatory reporting that helps drive business decisions. You'll work with people across the organisation to provide insight into performance, strengthen controls and support continuous improvement. • Lead engagement with Finance colleagues to analyse and explain financial results, key transactions and business developments.
• Take ownership of reporting processes, delivering accurate and timely IFRS, Solvency II and regulatory reporting outputs.
• Act as a trusted business partner, providing insight, challenge and technical guidance to support decision-making.
• Analyse data from several sources to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating findings into actionable insights.
• Interpret and apply accounting, regulatory and policy requirements to ensure compliant and consistent outcomes.
• Lead operational improvement, automation and digital initiatives to simplify activities, strengthen controls and improve efficiency.
• Lead reporting change initiatives and small projects, coordinating partners and implementing process and system enhancements.
• Support colleague development through coaching, knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Promote a strong risk and control environment through effective financial controls and governance processes.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years' experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, or a related Finance role.
• 3+ years' experience preparing and reviewing financial reporting under IFRS, Solvency II or other regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Proven experience analysing complex financial information and translating findings into clear insights and recommendations for interested parties.
• Strong people management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively and build effective relationships across Finance and the wider business.
• Experience operating within a robust financial control and governance environment, with a focus on accuracy, compliance and risk management.
And any of these would be great:
• Experience delivering operational improvement, automation or digital transformation initiatives within Finance.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and advanced Excel reporting techniques.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or developing colleagues and sharing technical expertise within a team environment.
• Ideally with Financial Services and/or Insurance experience.
