Finance Officer

• Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Processing purchase orders, invoices, and staff expense claims with high precision
• Assisting the Finance Manager with monthly bank reconciliations and budget monitoring
• Managing the school's online payment platform for trips, catering, and school uniform
• Maintaining accurate financial records using the school's MIS and accounting software (FMS or Xero)
• Liaising with suppliers and external auditors to resolve queries and ensure compliance
• Supporting the administration of the school's payroll and pension data
  
  Previous experience in a finance, bookkeeping, or accounting role, preferably within a school setting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with school-specific financial systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity
• The ability to work to tight month-end deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanour
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
