EMEA Rates Exotics Product Controller - Vice President

Join the EMEA Rates Product Control team as a Vice President, where you will play a key role in supporting a dynamic trading business across a broad spectrum of Rates products. This position offers the opportunity to partner closely with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology to deliver accurate financial reporting, a strong control framework, and meaningful insight into business performance. As Vice President in the EMEA Rates Product Control team, you will oversee the daily operations and performance of the Rates Product Control function, covering a broad range of products including government and corporate bonds, interest rate swaps, futures, options, structured notes, and exotics. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team, ensuring high standards of accuracy, control, and compliance are maintained. You will lead strategic projects and process improvements across the Rates products.,

• Lead, manage, and mentor the Rates Product Control team, ensuring effective execution of daily BAU activities and professional development of team members.
• Act as a key point of contact for Front Office, Market Risk, Finance, and other support functions, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation, efficiency, and standardization, leveraging new technologies and best practices.
• Manage and deliver key projects to enhance product control processes, systems, and controls across all Rates products.
• Develop and execute change management strategies to support successful project delivery and adoption of new processes.
• Design and implement robust control frameworks to strengthen risk management and regulatory compliance across Rates products.
• Provide insight and analysis on business performance, control environment, and emerging risks to inform decision-making.
• Oversee the creation of project documentation, process maps, and training materials to support new initiatives.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and report on key milestones to senior management.
  
  Significant experience in Product Control, Finance, or related areas within investment banking.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of Rates products, including swaps, bonds, futures, options, structured notes, and exotics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence and build relationships across multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record in project management, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CFA, PMP).
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA coding preferred).
