Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their potential?
Keys Group is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Progress Coordinator and Tutor to join our education team. This role combines tutoring two days per week with Progress Coordinator duties three days per week, overseeing a caseload of around 30 students to ensure high-quality, personalised provision., Progress Coordinator:
Monitor student engagement, progress, and attainment
Build positive relationships with students and families
Review referrals, assessments, and progress documentation
Support tutors through feedback, guidance, and quality improvement
Produce reports and maintain accurate records
Tutor:
Deliver personalised lessons in English, Maths, PSHE, and life skills
Use inclusive, trauma-informed approaches to support learning
Provide constructive feedback and promote responsibility and confidence
Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a safe, productive learning environment
You'll Bring
Experience of planning and delivering learning in line with the UK curriculum
Experience of working with young people with SEND
Ability to build positive relationships and rapport with young people
Knowledge of safeguarding, GDPR, and professional standards
Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills
A positive, flexible, proactive attitude
Desirable:
Experience working with SEND or learners struggling in mainstream education
Experience managing a caseload or supporting colleagues
Honours degree or teaching qualification, Ability to travel as required (vehicle access and business insurance needed)
Working Pattern:
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00
Term Time + 3 additional weeks
