Are you looking for a new challenge and would like to be a part of fantastic team? We are looking for a part time data administrator. This role provides administrative and data entry support to the Severe Asthma Team across Musgrove Park Hospital and Yeovil Hospital respiratory departments. The role focuses on accurate data input, maintaining records, and assisting with routine audit submissions to ensure the smooth running of the service as we are one of the four hubs within the South-West Severe Asthma Network, alongside colleagues in Bristol, Exeter and Plymouth. The post requires flexibility and the ability to provide a wide range of administrative and typist duties as the services develop.

  • This role is for 22.5 hours p/week.
  • Main duties, tasks & skills required Develop networks across the south west with other data administrators via the south west asthma network, including unifying data collation between Musgrove Park Hospital and Yeovil District Hospital. Provide effective communication between clinicians, General Practitioners, multidisciplinary teams, patients, managers and all necessary internal and external contacts to achieve an excellent and smooth patient pathway. Enquiries/contact can be via telephone, correspondence, email or face-to-face requiring a sensitive and patient manner. A high level of competence and confidence with a strict requirement of confidentiality. Participate in team and Trust meetings as requested.

    Educated to A level standard or equivalent qualification/experience. Evidence of a good standard of Literacy / English language skills, Numerate qualification or equivalent experience Evidence of further study in IT/Information systems/Analytics related areas, Experience of managing a busy workload with conflicting priorities Proven experience of successfully working in team environment., Experience of working in project environments Experience of data entry or administrative systems Experience of dealing with clinical and non-clinical staff of all levels, Excellent analytical skills Able to work accurately and follow instructions. Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
