Role Description

This is an on-site Fire Risk Assessor Contractor role based around the Midlands (specifically the vicinity of Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Telford), with home working for any report writing. The Fire Risk Assessor Contractor will carry out comprehensive fire risk assessments across a variety of premises, identifying hazards, evaluating risk levels, and recommending proportionate control measures. The role involves inspecting buildings, reviewing relevant documentation, and ensuring compliance with current fire safety legislation and guidance. The contractor will use Guardian Fire Safety's systems, including IgKnight, to produce clear, accurate, and actionable reports for clients. Daily activities include liaising with clients, explaining findings, supporting them in implementing recommendations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of fire safety and related regulations.
