Cnc Turner Programmer Setter Operator

We are currently looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join our team. This role involves programming, setting, and operating Mazak Quick Turn CNC lathes, producing high-quality precision components for a variety of applications. Working within a small but growing machining department, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact, develop your skills, and progress your career. Key Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate Mazak Quick Turn CNC turning machines
• Create and edit programs using Mazatrol software where required
• Machine precision components to tight tolerances
• Work with a range of materials including stainless steel, brass, aluminium, super duplex, and C22
• Inspect and check parts to ensure they meet drawing specifications and quality standards
• Support and guide apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practice
• Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment
  
  Proven experience as a CNC Turner
• Ability to program and set CNC lathes
• Experience with Mazak Quick Turn machines is advantageous
• Mazatrol programming knowledge is beneficial but not essential
• Experience with other CNC programming systems is welcome - training on Mazatrol can be provided
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
