Full Job Description

European and International Affairs (E&IA) and Employment and Skills (E&S) divisions are looking to recruit maternity cover for a Business Support Officer. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to work in a small team working on multiple projects and supporting partner city work. This includes the Young Women Into Leadership Summit (You WIL) and Horizon Europe projects including 'Bauhaus Bites' and 'Blossom'. Ideally the candidate will have an eye for detail, an ability to multitask with a flexible approach and excellent IT skills. It is expected that you will spend 50% of your time working on E&S work and 50% of your time working on E&IA work. The role entails:

  • providing consistently high-quality administrative business support,
  • assisting in the development and application of project management techniques to support the overall project and outcomes for the work area.
