Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm, confident, and professional when working under pressure. You will be responsible for delivering security training, carrying out security risk assessments and inspections, and recommending and implementing appropriate control measures to promote safe working environments and best practice throughout the Trust.

This role requires someone who can work independently, demonstrate sound judgement, effectively prioritise a varied workload, and collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple departments.

Experience gained within the Police, Military, or the security industry would be advantageous, although applicants with relevant transferable skills and experience are also encouraged to apply.

The post is primarily based at Heartlands Hospital; however, flexibility is essential as you will be expected to work across other Trust sites when required to meet service needs.
