Overview AtkinsRéalis, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, is recruiting senior or principal town planners to support the growth of our London and South East teams on major infrastructure and development projects. Your role
- Act as Planning Lead on projects across a range of markets and sectors.
- Participate actively in bid preparation, tender submissions and framework responses.
- Serve as lead consultant for multidisciplinary projects, responsible for project management and delivery.
- Provide support to junior colleagues and planning team leaders.
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic environment with environmental, engineering and design disciplines.
- Engage with market and client leads to support business growth and development opportunities. About You
- A relevant planning degree; RTPI membership desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, and deliver on time and within budget.
- Experience with Environment Impact Assessment process.
- Knowledge in strategic planning and planning policy.
- Understanding of TCPA, DCO, TWAO or equivalent applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain, explore and discuss planning issues.
- Flexibility to apply knowledge across a wide variety of planning-related tasks.
- Demonstrable ability to develop client relationships and support market growth. Security Clearance This role may require security clearance. Offers of employment will depend on obtaining the relevant clearance level.
