Full Job Description
As an Associate Director in our Life-Sciences & Healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead Design & Delivery: + Lead design, delivery, and growth of complex technology transformation programmes in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector + Bridge business strategy, technology architecture, engineering execution, and client engagement + Ensure successful outcomes from inception through delivery in large transformation programs in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector + Responsible for defining technology strategy and solution architecture + Lead project planning, governance, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
- Business Development & Market Growth: + Develop winning value propositions, proposals, and RFP responses in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector. + Identify and qualify new opportunities and lead sales pursuits + Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer pain points and technology requirements.
- Contribute to Service Offering Growth: + Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional development in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector. + Stay abreast of evolving technology landscapes and industry best practices in Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific, engineering, or technology discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering).
- Extensive experience working in leadership roles for large technology & engineering delivery projects, from design to delivery, in Life Sciences / Big Pharma industry (directly working for organisations in the industry or working for their technology suppliers). The individual should also be experienced in developing industry specific technology propositions, tools and accelerators.
- Good understanding of the Research and Development value chain in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector and core domain applications such as LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), ELN (Electronic Laboratory Network) and CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Preferably you will also have:
- Relevant professional certifications.
- Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g. GxP, clinical, diagnostic workflows)
- Master's degree or equivalent advanced qualification.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and their application in regulated environments.
