Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Westminster Community Independence Service. You will provide high-level daily office support across the three pathways, Urgent Community Response, Home First, and Rehab, while contributing ideas and supporting projects to improve and develop the service. You will need to have the ability to work independently as well as within the team when required. You will be an approachable and friendly person who is able to work in a busy environment, with a varied range needs and demands, someone who reacts well under pressure, can be trusted to get tasks done quickly and who is capable of adapting to fast changing situation. The post holder will liaise closely with other administration staff within the service (across the Tri-borough), other administrators from other areas across the Trust and external agencies as required.,

  • Provide administrative / office support to the CIS Multi-disciplinary teams.
  • To facilitate effective communication by providing and receiving information within the team and by providing timely and accurate messages and information
  • Exercise judgment when dealing with enquiries, analyse and resolve problems where required and within scope of role
  • Plan and prioritise own workload
  • When required to service meetings including preparing appropriate papers and taking and transcribing minutes
  • Be involved in and contribute ideas to project work aimed at improving the service.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to staff needs and requests.
  • Help and manage IT related issues
  • Help with the induction and set up of new staff members
  • Help ensure clinical supplies are managed and ordered
  • To provide general support as required within the CIS and to assist/support/cover other CIS administrative staff and cover their meetings where required, including diary management, and organising meetings
  • Collect and collate timely and accurate statistical data as required for auditing purposes producing reports from the data as required.
