Your role and responsibilities
- Administer and maintain effective business processes, procedures, and administrative systems
- Maintain workload balancing various tasks
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the service by working to the latest standard and guidance
- Provide a professional contact and accurate service information to internal staff and external professionals, young people and families
- Provide guidance, training, and cover for colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practice
- Maintain accurate electronic and manual records, filing systems, shared inboxes, and office administration
- Balancing a high-demand workload alongside processing new cases, preparing bundles for existing cases, and issuing final EHCPs, The Statutory SEND Services Team leads on all aspects of our family facing work and supports individual children and young people with SEND and their families throughout their SEND journey. This includes securing the right education offer to support their specific needs and ensuring regular and effective review of their progress, holding providers to account across the system for meeting the needs of individual children and young people. The team includes practitioners from a range of backgrounds who provide a wealth of knowledge and experience and support partnerships across the education, health, and care system., Step 3 - Upload a supporting statement answering the following questions below (no more than 400 words per question). 1. Think of a time when you have improved a system or process. What problem were you trying to solve, how did you identify it and what improvements/solutions have you suggested
2. What experience do you have with digital filing systems (e.g. SharePoint, OneDrive, shared drives)?
3. What is your understanding of SEND, and how do you support children/young people with SEND?
