We're looking for people to be part of this and contribute to the second to none efficiency of our business operations. If you're organised, proactive, and can spot the small details that make a big difference, look no further; our Administration Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship could be your perfect next step!, Join a friendly and experienced Business Logistics team that supports BBC Local across 39 locations. Working behind the scenes, we help content makers and leaders focus on delivering great journalism and content by providing support across areas such as fleet and asset management, mandatory training, business processes and operational planning. As an apprentice, you'll be involved in real projects from day one, helping to improve ways of working, support key business initiatives and contribute to the smooth running of operational activities across BBC Local. You'll work with colleagues from a wide range of teams and locations, gaining experience in stakeholder engagement, project coordination, problem-solving and data analysis. This is a great opportunity to develop valuable workplace skills, take ownership of meaningful pieces of work and make a genuine contribution, while learning from a supportive team that values collaboration, curiosity and new ideas., As a Level 2 Administration (ADA27) Assistant apprentice , this is a brilliant opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute - you will:

  • Communicate with colleagues across departments, building relationships and networks.
  • Learn the systems, processes and skills that keep a major global organisation running smoothly.
  • You'll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This means you'll spend at least one day a week studying for a Level 2 Administration Assistant apprenticeship with our learning provider, using its virtual delivery platform.

We're interested in your passion for working at the BBC and your enthusiasm for delivering world-class content and operational excellence to our audiences. We're not focused on your qualifications; instead, we look for potential and offer you the opportunity to apply your transferable strengths and experience to work in different ways. If you can bring some of these skills and experiences, along with transferable strengths, we'd love to hear from you and encourage you to apply:
  • Collaboration - we want to hear about your ability to work well with others and stakeholders across the organisation, to reach a common goal.

  • Adaptability - We're looking for candidates with an ability to adapt to changing circumstances and working in uncertain situations.
  • Motivation for the BBC - We're keen to hear about why you want to work at the BBC specifically, and your motivation around pursuing a role in the broadcasting industry.
  • The Administration Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship is designed to help individuals build the essential skills, confidence and knowledge needed to succeed in an entry-level administration or business support role.
