Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices, sales invoices, and expense claims accurately and on time
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
- Handle customer and supplier queries related to accounts
- Support payroll processing as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance-related role
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Experience using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP - or similar)
