Full Job Description

This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a proactive problem solver who thrives in a busy, dynamic environment? Do you excel at staying organised, juggling multiple priorities, and building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders?
Educational Engagement works in partnership with teams across the University to promote higher education and the opportunities available at the University of Leeds. Our aim is to ensure that all students, regardless of background, can thrive and succeed at Leeds. The Access and Outreach teams develop and deliver a range of on campus events and in-school activities for prospective students.
You will provide administrative support to the Access and Outreach teams and the wider Educational Engagement service. You will be the first point of contact for queries from a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and will assist with schools and colleges booking onto our activities. Your responsibilities will include organising and servicing meetings (in person and online), supporting the recruitment and payment of student workers, facilitating school bookings, assisting with the organisation of online and in-person activities, and supporting staff to deliver these. You will ensure that activities are recorded accurately for reporting purposes, and that the team are given appropriate support in data entry. Duties also include making travel arrangements, booking rooms and venues, purchasing, and logging information on the staff HR portal.
The role, while primarily an office-hours role, will require occasional evening/weekend work.
This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Information on other visa options is available at: https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas.

o Generous pension scheme options plus life assurance.
o Health and wellbeing: discounted staff membership options at The Edge, our state-of-the-art Campus gym, with a pool, sauna, climbing wall, cycle circuit, and sports halls.
o Personal development: access to courses run by our Organisational Development & Professional Learning team, and self-development courses including languages, creative writing, wellbeing therapies and much more.
o Access to on-site childcare, shopping discounts and travel schemes are also available.
