Dechra Engineers Lead Local Park Transformation: A Story of Community Spirit

As part of their annual volunteering initiative, members of Dechra’s Engineering Team recently took time away from their usual high-tech tools to pick up paintbrushes and give a local park a much-needed makeover. The result? A vibrant, welcoming space for families to enjoy, just two minutes from their Skipton site. 

Revitalizing a Community Hub 

The project focused on restoring worn and weathered play equipment that had lost its appeal over time. Graffiti was removed, chipped paint was covered up, and the area was transformed into a lively hub for local families. What once felt neglected now radiates energy and warmth—a testament to the dedication of Dechra’s employees.

“It’s great to give something back to the community, especially when it’s right on our doorstep,” shared a member of the Engineering Team. “We take pride in helping make Skipton a better place for everyone.”
