Full Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, whilst working as a team to ensure all cleaning tasks are delivered to a high standard in accordance to the cleaning schedule to always provide a clean and hygienic environment.
Duties include: Undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the care home to maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure the environment remains comfortable and welcoming at all times. Maintaining required documents such as cleaning schedules.
At times, supporting the catering time completing cleaning tasks and serving residents their meals. Supporting the catering team to prepare meals when required.
Promoting safe working practice within the home and reporting any hazards to the Registered Manager. Working in line with Health & Safety, Emergency and Fire procedures, COSHH, all aspects of the Care Standards Act, have a clear understanding of Infection Prevention and Control policies, procedures, and measures to maintain a safe environment throughout the home.
Previous experience or willingness to learn.
