Part-time 15 hours to be worked Monday – Wednesday – Thursday

£30K pro rata

Key Purpose of role

The key purpose of this role is to support the Accounts Manager in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing day-to-day transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts function.

Role and Responsibilities:

Commercial and Financial Support

Assist with applications for payment
Processing expenses and other accounting support (CMap and Pleo)
Assist with invoices
Assist with financial analysis
Assist with commercial software (currently CMap)
Assist with setting up financial KPI’s and updating and maintaining same
Assisting with debtors
Assist with the production of pricing document for extra works (variations)
Assist with the production of contract documents

Key Skills Required

Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts assistant role (2+ years preferred).
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload in a part-time capacity.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with QuickBooks desirable
