Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has come available for a Volunteer Driver to transport patients to and from appointments in the surrounding area. Please note: Mileage and out of pocket expenses will be covered, proof of a clean driving licence, insurance and MOT is essential for this role.Main duties of the job The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows: Provide transport for people wishing to get to appointments, This may be to access health appointments, to participate in an activity or to assist in-patients with home leave. Offer reassurance and engage in conversation as appropriate during the journeys
- Report any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager.
