Full Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Implementation Engineer contractor to join us on a 12-month basis. This role is critical in growing and guiding our Regional Deployment team to ensure seamless delivery of our active network services. This role blends technical expertise with people development, focusing on process improvement, network design, and deployment excellence. What you'll be doing:
- Leading and nurturing a regional team to deliver network services efficiently, while supporting their growth and development
- Designing and refining processes for network installations, upgrades, and migrations to ensure smooth and timely service delivery
- Collaborating closely with engineers and partners to integrate new technologies and maintain high standards across deployments
- Driving continuous improvement by enhancing deployment workflows with a focus on data accuracy, automation, and quality
- Providing expert guidance and acting as a go-to resource for colleagues, helping shape a supportive and high-performing team culture
A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and empowering others to grow within a high-performing team - Strong communication skills to confidently engage with engineers, partners, and stakeholders across all levels
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for improving processes and driving innovation
- Technical know-how in network deployment, commissioning, and troubleshooting, paired with a willingness to keep learning
- A calm and organised presence, able to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and attention to detail, Proven experience in network deployment and planning, ideally in a multivendor environment
- Ability to build and lead a team with diverse technical skills.
- Familiarity with commissioning and troubleshooting tools
- Understanding of Ethernet & IP (Layer 2 and 3 technologies)
- Commitment to continuous improvement and process efficiency
