Full Job Description
Here at Lloyds Banking Group (LBG), we put our customers at the heart of everything we do, and every colleague has an important part to play. The Embedded Finance team is a fast-paced start-up group within Consumer Lending and is tasked with building out propositions that solve customers' financial needs, when and where they are. We've just launched our first product, Black Horse Flex Pay, on a third-party platform and we are moving into BAU process. This involves the deployment of automated test environments to maintain the system in production with exposure to an increasing number of customers. Join us as a Quality Engineer, with knowledge, you'll use your technical skills to support the delivery of quality software solutions into production. You'll be continually challenged, motivated, mentored and supported to develop your skills and bring forward the best solutions to conduct effective testing. You'll work collaboratively with other team members, partners and third parties to create empowered teams who are motivated to solve business problems and realise value to customers. You will be technically literate, experienced in automated and manual testing processes, keen to learn, able to communicate well, with an interest in ensuring quality services are delivered for customers and colleagues. The role will focus on manual and automation testing and co-ordination across multiple 3rd party & LBG teams. A willingness to get stuck in and learn on the job is essential.
- Strong background in automation testing using tools such as Selenium , Playwright
- Proficiency in one of the programming languages like java, java script, typescript used for test automation
- Hands-on experience with API testing and API test automation
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and a solid understanding of QA processes and best practices
- Familiarity with JIRA and Xray for test management and tracking
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams And any experience of these would be really useful
- Experience in iOS and Android app testing and automation
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests
- Exposure to non-functional testing (e.g., performance, security, usability)
