Full Job Description
We are seeking a TMO Monitoring & Liaison Officer to join their dynamic team within the Housing and Regeneration Directorate. As the TMO Monitoring & Liaison Officer, you will play a crucial role in regulating Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs) in the borough, ensuring they provide excellent services in line with the Management Agreement. In this role, you'll provide guidance on governance and performance standards, helping TMOs meet compliance requirements and uphold the management agreements. You'll work closely with council teams and other stakeholders, sharing your expertise in areas like policy implementation, risk mitigation, and service improvement. - Coordinating with TMOs to ensure the council receives the required documentation and performance information for evaluation.
- Facilitating regular review meetings, tracking actions, and ensuring completion.
- Taking appropriate actions and interventions to improve TMO performance.
- Acting as a key source of information and support for TMOs, resolving day-to-day issues and providing guidance.
- Providing training, advice, and support to TMOs and maintaining accurate performance data.
- Representing the council at TMO meetings, demonstrating support and building strong relationships.
- Ensuring that the council fulfils its obligations to TMOs, including payment of allowances and repairs., This is a permanent position, and you will work 35 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule of a minimum of 3 days in the office and occasional evening or weekend meetings, no more than once a month.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of monitoring techniques and performance indicators.
- Familiarity with diversity and equality principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in IT software packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
