As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for residents. The role involves devising imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing the wellbeing, independence and social engagement of the residents., The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for getting to know the residents and their families, and then creating tailored activity programmes focused on enhancing their overall wellbeing. The role requires strong organizational skills, a driven mindset, and the ability to inspire both residents and staff with an infectious enthusiasm and creative approach. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as the organization will provide the necessary training and support for professional development.
