Full Job Description
Our practitioners work primarily with families whose children are accessing the 2-year offer to get children ready for school. We work hard to establish nurturing, respectful relationships with our families and ensure that they have access to the right support at the right time in their own community. Delivering high quality learning opportunities for children in the setting and supporting families to continue with home learning to provide the best opportunities to improve outcomes for the whole family. This is a part-time, fixed-term position for one year, working during term time only (190 days per year).
We are looking for experienced early years practitioners who are passionate about improving outcomes for Children and families in the North Shields area.,
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about working with children in all aspects of their care, learning and development.
- Be a highly skilled professional who can maximise opportunities to work in partnership with parents and professionals to secure improved outcomes for the families.
- Have lots of energy and a positive 'can do' attitude.
- Be highly motivated and creative.
- Have extensive knowledge and experience of working within and delivering OFSTED standards. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and an Enhanced DBS disclosure, including Barred List Check, will be required.
