Full Job Description

- To have a key/lead role in delivery of practice learning work of the SCSP in relation to the SCSP key priorities so that outcomes for children, young people and families are improved.
- To drive forward improvement, partnership and practice change derived from what is known and understood from the quality of frontline practice.
- To monitor and evaluate and oversee the implementation and embedment of the SCSP delivery plans within the priority areas
- Co-ordinate priority areas subgroups and contribute to effective implementation & delivery within the priority area strategy and workplan that will promote the welfare of children.
- Identify development needs, design and create solutions across the subgroups/priority areas for SCSP.
- Driving learning and practice improvements within the children's multi-agency safeguarding arrangements (MASA) with the aim of improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
- Ensure effective systems are in place, reviewed and maintained to provide the SCSP with assurance on the quality of, and learning from analysis from serious case reviews/local and national practice reviews, single and multi-agency inspection outcomes within the priorities areas for SCSP.
