The Ginger Vizsla Puppy Club is a distinguished KC Assured Breeder of Hungarian Smooth Coat Vizslas, nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside in Sevenoaks. With an emphasis on excellence and rarity, we offer only limited availability, reflecting the considered, boutique nature of our breeding programme. Founded to bring exceptional, KC-registered Smooth Coat Hungarian Vizslas not only in the UK but RoW, The GVP is dedicated to raising puppies of outstanding quality for discerning, devoted homes. Every one of our puppies is KC registered, comprehensively health-checked, and comes from exemplary lineage.

What You'll Do

Working alongside the Founder and wider GVP team, you will develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to work within a professional breeding environment while helping maintain the exceptionally high standards of welfare and care for which The GVP Club is known.

No previous professional dog experience is required. Full training, mentoring and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Canine Care
Feed adult dogs and puppies according to individual feeding plans
Ensure fresh drinking water is always available
Observe and report any changes in health or behaviour
Assist with grooming and general husbandry
Maintain exceptional standards of canine welfare at all times
Puppy Development

Support the GVP companion system with:

Early puppy socialisation
Environmental exposure
Confidence building
Basic training foundations
Handling and grooming exercises
Crate training
Toilet training routines
Preparing puppies for their forever homes
Exercise, enrichment and training

Training Outcome

Possibility of progressing to the Level 3 Animal Care Apprenticeship.

Working Arrangements

Working Week: This apprenticeship is offered on a flexible rota basis to meet the operational needs of The GVP Club Minimum contracted hours of 16 hours per week and up to 45 in busy periods Working days (5 days out of a 7-day week subject to hours), exact working days and hours TBC.
