Full Job Description
We are looking for warm, resourceful, energetic and diverse team of Relief Recovery Support Workers to join our service Forest Road in Loughborough. Forest Road is a step-through accommodation based service offering holistic support of up to seven Service Users. Your role will be to support individual service users, taking a person-centred approach to their care and support. Your role will include:
- Undertaking the responsibility of being a Key Worker/Co-worker.
- Planning alongside members of the person's circle of support, and to enable individuals to be happy, healthy and to be successful in achieving their wishes and aspirations. Our person-centred plans, meetings and processes are co-produced with the people we support and their families, to promote a unified approach.
- Together, you will set meaningful and aspirational goals which you will support our service users to move towards,
- You will be paid on a weekly basis.
You will have previous experience of working with people in a recovery-focused way who are experiencing mental health problems, either in a community, residential or inpatient setting. You will be motivated with good communication skills and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes using a person-centred recovery approach.
