Full Job Description
As an Admin Assistant for Charnwood Neighbourhood team you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to a specific area of the mental health team which will include supporting a clinical team. In addition to that you will be required to cover the reception which will include meeting and greeting patients face to face and answering the telephone in a timely manner. This is a part time role of 22.5 hours per week. This is a diverse role and you will be working in a busy and fast paced environment within a team that value and support each other. - Please note we do NOT offer Sponsorship for this role As an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries and face to face from patients and referrers. You will be working proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams including other services within the directorate of Mental Health and Clinical and Medical Staff. You will be processing referrals, data inputting, supporting the wider teams as per service needs and other general administration duties.
For this you will require good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent IT skills and highly organised with good planning skills. The role includes telephone and written correspondence with patients, Service Users, liaising with family members/carers, GPs and other primary care services, other external NHS services or partner agencies, such as Social Care and the Police. You will need good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner.
