As a Care Worker, you will play an important role in promoting the wellbeing, confidence and independence of the people we support. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting individuals with activities based on their needs, goals and interests.
Helping service users access and enjoy opportunities within their local community.
Providing personal care and administering medication (full training provided).
Delivering and supporting a varied programme of activities and events.
Acting as a keyworker and maintaining accurate, professional records.
Assisting with transport duties as a driver or passenger assistant when required.
Sports sessions such as kurling, cricket and pickleball in partnership with Smile Through Sport.
Rhythmstix drumming, FitSticks, gardening, arts and crafts, creative design, music and pamper sessions.
Sensory sessions, offering calming, stimulating and interactive experiences designed to promote wellbeing, engagement and enjoyment.
Social events including discos, bingo, BBQs and our popular Christmas programme.
Cooking and baking for our social enterprise, Pottergate Pantry.

Has a good standard of education, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Has a positive, flexible attitude and a genuine passion for supporting others.
Can work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships.
Is willing to undertake training and uphold the highest standards of care.
Holds a full driving licence (desirable but not essential).

· 26 days annual leave plus public/bank holidays, rising to 31 days after 5 years of service (pro rata for part-time employees)
