Full Job Description

The Therapy Assistant role at Together Trust involves supporting a young person with autism and ADHD, as well as their family, by developing and delivering tailored therapy programs under the guidance of a multi-disciplinary team. The role requires experience in supporting therapy programs, working in specialist education, and relating well to parents and carers. The successful candidate should have patience, understanding, and a willingness to approach things differently to support the young person's needs., As a Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to support a young person and their family. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering therapy programs, providing advice and coaching to the young person and their family, and contributing to the young person's risk assessment and management plans. You will need to have experience in supporting therapy programs, working in specialist education, and relating well to parents and carers. The role also requires patience, understanding, and a willingness to approach things differently to support the young person's needs.
