Working in our Ministry of Justice accommodation support service team, you'll ensure ex-offenders secure and maintain suitable and settled accommodation in the North East, enabling them to build on their life skills.
Give people clear advice, support and guidance to help them find and keep a home. You'll develop support plans and risk assessments to track progress and positive outcomes.
Assess what each person needs, spot any risks early and connect them with the right specialist help.
Keep accurate digital records and hit the performance targets we've agreed with the Ministry of Justice.

You'll be experienced in supporting people with complex lives and you can motivate others to make positive changes.
You communicate clearly, stay calm in tough moments and know how to de-escalate challenging behaviour.
Great at using everyday IT, including Microsoft apps, and can manage caseloads on digital systems.
An understanding of safeguarding, as well as local housing options, legislation and support services.
The ability to manage a caseload of varying complexities and possess the confidence and ability to deliver both 1-1 and interventions.
You'll have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, and you're happy to travel across the region.
