Delivery Analyst / Assistant

Amida have been instructed by a leading Enterprise Asset Management consultancy, to aid in bulking up their team of consultants due to business growth and an influx of projects and clients.

Our client tends to work within the transport, infrastructure, rail, energy and aviation sectors worldwide; introducing, advising on and implementing technology into their systems in order to become more efficient and increase performance across entire asset lifecycles.

We are searching for graduates with a few years industry experience within traditional consulting, business analysis, maintenance or engineering backgrounds who wish to move into an enterprise asset management and project delivery profession.

Your role will involve:

  • EAM Professional Skills (Developing competence)
  • Business Analysis (Developing competence)
  • Products & Solutions (Developing competence)
  • Documentation (Competent)
  • Testing (Delivery)
  • Data Manipulation (Developing competence)
  • Reporting Solutions (Deployment)
  • Training & Support (Delivery Support)


Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • 1 Bachelors degree or equivalent* in an engineering, science, technology or business related degree.
  • An analytical approach to understanding, describing/modelling and solving real world problems.
  • An ability to follow and where necessary adapt a defined process / methodology with suitable guidance from more experienced Group colleagues.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills, including conveying technical information.
  • We are also able to consider candidates with good degrees or equivalent qualifications from other subjects provided they can demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills and experience.



Advantageous / Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

  • Industry / business experience gained either through vacation or undergraduate placements.
  • An understanding of programming or technology relevant to the industry sectors in which we operate which will help you work with and understand the output of the Group Technology team
  • Data Manipulation Skills using Excel or similar.
  • Database experience: Relational and/or Geo-Spatial / Oracle, DB2, SQL.
  • EAM system experience: IBM Maximo or other EAM systems such as Infor, SAP, Oracle etc.
  • Experience of GIS or CAD systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
  • Any experience relating to change management or organisational change.
  • System test experience: Test case design unit / UAT / regression testing, automated testing cutover between legacy and new systems.



Person Profile

  • A person with excellent verbal communication skills who will quickly build relationships with their multi-disciplined team of Group colleagues and clients.
  • Fluent spoken and high quality written English with an ability to simply describe complex problems.
  • A friendly and personable demeanour who is not afraid to ask questions or challenge the status quo - Group is renowned for enabling continuous improvement.
  • Organised and able to perform well under pressure and apply the initiative and flexibility required to ensure the success of complex and challenging implementations.
  • Willingness and desire to learn about our clients' industries, how their business processes work and a firm understanding that technology is a powerful tool used to deliver business benefit and not a means unto itself.
  • Genuinely interested in and willing to become committed to the delivery of World Class Enterprise Asset Management and Safety solutions.
