Caretaker Handyperson - South East London, £20,000 (FTE) 21 Hours

PCHA is a small community based housing association providing great quality homes in the Bromley Borough. Our vision is to make a positive impact for our residents and the community and we are seeking to recruit a skilled and friendly Caretaker/Handyperson to join our team and help us achieve this.

Its an exciting opportunity for the right person and if you want to be part of a small team, take pride in your work and make a real difference to the lives of our residents, it could be yours!

Every day may be different so were after someone who is customer focused, motivated and flexible!  Youll be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety and security within our blocks and small estates, developing great relationships with residents and assisting us develop a handyperson service for minor repairs and maintenance.
 

With an understanding and awareness of Health and Safety issues, youll be our frontline eyes and ears, ensuring our estates are safe and great places to live

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Commitment to customer service (essential)
  • Experience of carrying out minor repair works and use of power tools (essential)
  • Previous experience working within peoples homes (desirable)
  • Worked with, or have a good understanding of working with vulnerable people (desirable)

Package

  • £20,000 FTE (21 Hours)
  • Company vehicle
  • 25 days holiday (Pro-Rota)
  • Pension Scheme
