Salary:              £15,000 to £21,000 depending on experience 

Reception & Sales Administration Assistant Dura Composites is a leading supplier of composite decking and GRP products with over 22 years' experience. They are looking for a Reception & Sales Administration Assistant to join their join their team on a full time, permanent basis. In return we are paying this Reception & Sales Administration Assistant a basic salary of £15,000 to £21,000 depending on experience.

Job Purpose:

Directing reception calls as appropriate to the correct salesperson and assisting in producing quotes and sales orders. Assist Company Sales Admin Team Leader in supporting all sales sectors with sales admin tasks to enable sales teams to spend more time with customers. Responsible for the daily samples mailing requests and general sales administration.

As Reception & Sales Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing daily samples and associated letters
  • Reception duties, including redirecting all calls to appropriate teams
  • First point of contact for Decking and Cladding calls
  • Assisting with sales enquires via the company website and assign to the appropriate team
  • Administer and process lazy fence, eBay enquiries and orders
  • Completion of new customer enquiry forms
  • Scanning of sales order packs on to server with the appropriate file name, in a timely manner
  • Taking payments for non-credit account customers for the sales teams
  • Support Sales Admin Team Leader to ensure that data held in the CRM system is accurate and up to date by ensuring that new people and businesses are added, and incorrect data is removed
  • Keeping company accreditation details up to date
  • Making courtesy calls to customers after point of sale
  • General admin duties to support Sales Admin Team Leader and cover for time offs

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and active listening skills
  • Good judgement and highly organised
  • Ability to organise a demanding workload and to prioritise tasks on a daily basis
  • Effective communicator by phone and in person
  • Excellent IT skills to include proficiency in all Microsoft applications

  • Comfortable in a fast-changing and high-pressure environment
  • Honest, reliable and flexible attitude
  • Great Work Ethic, Proactive and positive approach to all tasks

This is a full time, permanent position offering a basic salary of £15,000 to £21,000 depending on experience.
