Do you have strong knowledge and research experience in bioprocessing, mechanochemistry or the use of extrusion in a food development environment? Do you want to further your career through an industrial project with one of the UK's leading research-intensive universities whilst pursuing a career in industry?, The ideal candidate will have:
A PhD in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Food Science or a master's degree with a minimum of three years' manufacturing experience in the novel food sector
A thorough understanding of lignocellulosic processing or protein extraction
Experience of bioprocessing laboratory work
Experience of collaborative working with industry
Excellent communication and organisational skills

You will be working within Green Britain Group to embed knowledge through this innovative Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP), with academic support from the University of Bath, to extract edible proteins from grass, producing a vast, sustainable source of inexpensive nutritious food products including a burger and protein shakes.
