Caretaker and Handy person
Salary: £12.65-13.05 per hour
Grade: CD
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 7,5 per week
Location: Settrington All Saints’ Church of England Primary School, Settrington, Malton North Yorkshire YO17 8NB

Settrington All Saints’ Church of England Primary School is a small rural primary school located in the beautiful village. We are looking for a dedicated caretaker/handy person to join our close-knit team. The position starts on 1st August 2025 and involves 7.5 hours work per week, with flexible timings to be agreed mutually and opportunities for additional hours.
Key Dates:
Closing date for applications is 16th June 2025
Interviews will be held on week commencing 16th June 2025, to enable any successful candidate to give notice to start in August 2025, where applicable.
The purpose of this role is to undertake the efficient maintenance, safety and security of the school and the safety and security of the grounds. This involves carrying our caretaking, handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage and minor repairs. You will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe and secure premises, which includes buildings and grounds whilst promoting health and safety around the school.
