Full Job Description
We are looking for team members who love beer, specifically our beer.
Are you passionate about talking to customers about our beers? Do you like to train and coach others, as well as attend events and functions such as BREW//LDN and City Beerfest? Do you enjoy learning about brewing, care about the business and team, and always lead by example?
If the answer is yes, then please apply here to join the next programme of Hop Heads!
Learning will include:
· Sheps' Beer workshop
· Cellar Management
· WSET Beer Level 1 qualification
· Brewery tour, Small Batch tour and Heritage talk with Jonathan Neame.
A Hop Head is expected to:
· Attend training that supports the role
· Train, coach and mentor new and existing team members on-the-job to promote own beers and achieve OBV (Own Beer Volume) targets
· Update colleagues and train them on new beers
· Monitor own beer sales to assist in identifying training opportunities & boost growth
· Be empowered to carry out ad-hoc and on-going coaching of colleagues where they observe standards not being met
· Feedback on all relevant matters concerning beer quality to managers
· Be open to support and work at events various where opportunities arise
