Full Job Description

Working hours: This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) with the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working, The Surveyor will be responsible for undertaking building surveys in line with the periodic programme, specifying, tendering and clerking planned maintenance and ensuring the database in updated with schedules of condition and expenditure, Complete periodic building surveys for scheduled properties in accordance with RICS guidance. Recording and reporting recommendations for repair, maintenance, and improvement.
- Manage insurance claims where appropriate through effective diagnosis, claim handling and record keeping.
- Plan and deliver planned maintenance projects to schedule and budget.
- Specify and tender construction contracts in accordance with procurement policy.

Knowledge of RICS Building surveying practises and standards, CDM regulations and processes, Landlord legal responsibilities, planning policy and Building regulation
- Able to produce well-presented and written reports
- Collaborative and diplomatic, and able to demonstrate experience building effective and successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning, organising and prioritising with an eye for detail.

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum subject to qualifications and experience

Benefits: We offer a range of benefits including hybrid and flexible working, 11% non-contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday Rising to 29 after five years' service.
